besides wnads, staves, scrolls how do you handle attack spells in magic items. I'm asking this because i have a character interested in making gloves of Dalamar's lightning lance in a DL setting. But if i make it usable too few times a day they won't have the desired effect or too many and it will unbalance the game not to mention that they become less usefull as we level to the point of SR being so much higher than the caster level used on them. The second part of my post, which is related to the 1st, is what decent attackspells are out there that do not allow for SR or a ref for 1/2. Those i think would be the best choice for any attack spell stored in an item. 2nd part is main reason for posting here not in items forum.
