Augment Familiar and permacy? [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-06-05, 02:14 PM Can Augment Familiar be made perment with permacy? I know I would love to. My (soon to be DM) is very cool about most thing and if people here say it can be he will alowe it.

09-06-05, 06:39 PM It doesn't say that it can be made permanent in the spell description in Complete Warrior, so I would say no. It cannot be made permanent.

09-07-05, 10:04 AM The PHB says that a DM can allow other spells to be made permanent. But the character must first research how the spell can be made permanent (costs as much as researching the spell would cost). If the DM decides that the spell cannot be made permanent, the research fails.
