| Draco Light04-26-05, 04:04 AM | If I remember right, the feat gives an extra 2 points of healing per level of the spell. Thus, there's theoretically 2 different ways to look at it. 1. Cure Minor Wounds is a level 0 spell. Thus, 2*0 = 0. No bonus HPs. 2. Cure Minor Wounds is a level 0 spell, which is treated as level 1/2 for item creation and other similar things. Thus, 2*.5 = 1. 1 HP normally, plus a bonus one, for 2 total. The latter really wouldn't be too problematic. I'd say let it heal 2 HPs. That's +100% efficiency! No real need for a +200%. |

Thanks for the clarification.Cantrips are treated as "1/2 level" for purposes of resolving spell-level-based scenarios, from pricing magic items to calculating spell scribing costs. It would fit here as well. And be equally fair. On second thought... it would not be "equally fair". It would be "fair". The manner you have chosen is not fair because it makes the Feat useless for a spell that fits all the criteria for the Feat. |
