Avasculate and Flensing cast on undead? [Archive] - Wizards Community

These spells both have a primary effect with no save, and a secondary effect that allows a Fort save.

Undead are immune to spells that have a Fort save (unless that spell also works on objects).

Does that mean casting Avasculate on an undead will still cause half its hp of damage? Or that Flensing will do Cha damage and hp damage by ripping strips of flesh off its skin?

I'm wondering whether to house rule something very narrowly specific just to those two spells. It doesn't seem like they ought to hurt undead.
