Essex 01-12-05, 09:54 PM	What EXACTLY does Awaken Construct do? The spell simply states that it gives a construct human-like intelligence. Does this mean an intelligence of 10, of 3d6, of 4d6 & drop the lowest or some other attribute determining scheme? What about wisdom and charisma? Awakening a construct that'll have a charisma of 1 is a pretty big problem. I was wondering about this because I was considering making a deranged NPC Effigy Master who creates a humanoid effigy, falls in love with it and wants to bring it to life.

MattHawk 01-13-05, 01:01 AM	Reading through an older thread about it, I heard one way to apply it was to essentially treat it as the druid Awaken spell, and derive the stats the same way. If you want it to be really smart or such... rod of metamagic (maximize) :)
