Axiomatic Creature spell [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-29-07, 04:30 PM The Book of Exalted Deeds has a spell called Axiomatic Creature. This spell has an Archon component, which to my understanding, only an Archon or Celestial Mystic may cast it. My question is if I have a scroll with this spell could I use the Use Magic Device skill to cast it?

But I'd ask my DM before assuming that would be his answer... the whole thing sounds pretty strange. You could also argue that since you don't need to provide anything but verbal and somatic components when casting from a scroll, you shouldn't even need to emulate the race.
