Some magic items to get you into the holiday spirit. These items are only suitable in games that possess some kind of Halloween tradition (or any sort of holiday or occasions in which people masquerade as monstrous creatures). Feel free to invent other costumes, masks, tricks and treats. I'm not sure how accurately priced most are; making magic items isnt exactly one of my strong points.
At any rate, its also possible to purchase mundane versions of each mask and costume for a few sp or gp depending on the material or outfit that the item originates from.

Masks
Aside from looking festive, each of the following masks provides the wearer with a +1 bonus on all Charisma-related checks when dealing with creatures of the mentioned creature type or subtype. In addition, some masks may confer additional benefits as detailed in their individual descriptions.
Dragon Mask: Dragon. Fashioned from various reptile skins. Confers an energy resistance of 1 against the relevant energy type that the mask's dragon type is immune to (for example, fire for a gold or red dragon mask, electricity for a blue dragon mask, etc).
Faint enchantment; CL 3rd; Craft Wondrous Item, eagle's splendor, energy resistance; Price: 2,500 gp
Goblin Mask: Goblinoid subtype. A crude mask made of cloth and leather that depicts a goblin's face.
Faint enchantment; Craft Wondrous Item, eagle's splendor; Price: 1,800 gp
Illithid Mask: Aberration. An illithid mask is a mauve, rubbery mask that seems to glisten with slime. Provides a +1 resistance bonus on saving throws against a mind flayer's spell-like and supernatral abilities.
Faint enchantment; CL 3rd; Craft Wondrous Item, eagle's splendor; Price: 2,700 gp
Pumpkin Mask: Fey. Elaborately carved from oak and painted orange.
Faint enchantment; Craft Wondrous Item, eagle's splendor; Price: 1,800 gp
Skeleton Mask: Undead. A plain mask carved from bone.
Faint enchantment; Craft Wondrous Item, eagle's splendor; Price: 1,800 gp
Wolf Mask: Shapechanger subtype. Fashioned from red-dyed leather, sometimes with fur attached. Also provides a +1 enhancement bonus on saving throws made to resist contracting lycanthrope.
Faint enchantment; CL 3rd; Craft Wondrous Item, eagle's splendor; Price: 2,500 gp

Costumes
Magical costumes are illusion-based magic items that disguise the wearer as an average creature in accordance to the costume type. Since they are rather expensive, they are normally not found in the possession of common folk, though wealthier families might have one to brighten the lives of the common folk.
They are visual-only, and do not mask the wearer's smell, sounds, or the way they feel if touched. It also does not change the way you walk or move. They do not foil any type of divination spell such as detect undead (which would reveal that a creature wearing a ghost or skeleton costume is not undead). Finally, they do not confer any sort of special attacks or qualities possessed by the given creature (such as a ghost's incorporeal subtype or a mummy's mummy rot attack).
Ghost Costume: A ghost costume is a plain white sheet with embroidered runes that can be seen only at certain angles if one closely inspects it just right. When activated, the wearer appears as a ghost of their former selves; pale white, semi-transparent, and seems to float just a bit off of the ground when they move.
Faint illusion; CL 1st; Craft Wondrous Item, disguise self; Price: 1,200 gp
Goblin Costume: This costume is intended for gnomes and halflings due to their sizes. It appears as a ragged set of dirty clothes and worn mock-equipment (sword, armor, and shield), such as that you might find on a normal goblin. When activated, the wearer looks just like an average goblin.
Faint illusion; CL 1st; Craft Wondrous Item, disguise self; Price: 1,200 gp
Mummy Costume: A mummy costume is a bundle of linen with written patterns covering its surface. It is not sufficient to cover the entire body, but needs only to be wrapped around the subject until it runs out before it can be used. Once activated, the wearer appears like a standard mummy, putrid flesh and all. It does not come with any sort of jewelry or other accessories.
Faint illusion; CL 1st; Craft Wondrous Item, disguise self; Price: 1,200 gp
Scarecrow Costume: Durable farming clothing and a straw hat make up the scarecrow costume. Once donned and activated, the wearer appears like a scarecrow with a pumpkin head and a straw body.
Faint illusion; CL 1st; Craft Wondrous Item, disguise self; Price: 1,200 gp
Skeleton Costume: Skeleton costumes are black body suits with a painted skeleton design on the surface until they are in use, after which the wearer is identical to a skeleton of the appropriate size and creature type. The bones can be seen through as normal, but objects cannot be pushed through.
Faint illusion; CL 1st; Craft Wondrous Item, disguise self; Price: 1,200 gp
Vampire Costume: This elaborate costume is an enchanted noble's outfit, taking a few minutes to properly donned. Even out of the holiday season, it can still be appropriate for formal occasions. This costume does not change much about the wearer aside from minor cosmetic alterations, changing the eyes, teeth and skin to what you would expect on a vampire.
Faint illusion; CL 1st; Craft Wondrous Item, disguise self; Price: 1,200 gp
Werewolf Costume: A ruined peasant's outfit makes up this costume, though when activated the wearer appears just like a werewolf in its hybrid human/animal form of the appropriate size.
Faint illusion; CL 1st; Craft Wondrous Item, disguise self; Price: 1,200 gp

Trick...
Its a classic. :-P
Flaming Bag: A seemingly innocuous bag holds a nasty surprise when stepped on to douse the flames; dog poop! A flaming bag is actually an alchemy item that burns very slowly. When the bag is stomped on however, it releases a putrid cloud of harmless stinking gas. The gas fills an area 5 ft. in diameter, forcing any creature that moves through it to make a DC 10 Fortitude save or become nauseous for one round.

...or Treat?
A handful of goodies. ^_^
Bag of Candy: This minor magical item is a small leather pouch that is capable of producing ten pieces of candy per day. The candy produced is always random. They are often found within the possession of kindly wizards and wealthy nobles.
Faint conjuration; CL 1st; Craft Wondrous Item, prestidigitation; Price 250 gp.
Hallowed Candle: Lighting this special candle calls into an effect similar to that of a protection from evil spell, preventing evil undead and fey from entering within 5 ft. of the candle (but imparting no additional benefits of the spell) unless they succeed a DC 11 Will save. If placed near the front door of a building, creatures are also prevented from entering it by any means if the fail their saving throw. Those that succeed cannot be affected by the same candle again. Each candle lasts for one hour. During Halloween they are often placed within jack-o-lanterns.
Faint abjuration; CL 3rd; Craft Wondrous Item, protection from evil; Price: 1,000.
