| IceFractal04-19-07, 03:15 AM | Well, the bag would be destroyed. So it would act like a flamethrower - once - then you have to get another one. |

| RancorClaw04-19-07, 09:33 AM | The description of the Bag of Holding specifies that it can be destroyed by piercing from the inside or outside (so don't try to store unsheathed daggers in it,) and that if that happens, all its contents are lost forever. Depending on the size of the explosion, and the type of Bag of Holding in question, the result would either be a small burst of fire that burns your hands, ruins the Bag, and destroys everything inside it, to no external visible effect, but still the ruination of the bag and everything within. Unless you're boobytrapping someone else's Bag of Holding, this all sounds like just a rather expensive method of losing equipment. (To get a flame-thrower effect, you would probably need to use Alchemist's Fire contained within a strong tube that's only open at one end.) |
