| Galahad the Pure06-24-04, 02:10 PM | My cleric is fighting a marilith, who is vulnerable to good-aligned, cold iron weapons. My cleric casts banishment, presenting a cold-iron dagger as the focus, though the dagger is not holy nor does it have the relevant align weapon spell cast on it. Despite that the cold-iron dagger would not penetrate the marilith's damage reduction, would it still meet the criteria of an "object or substance that the target hates, fears, or otherwise opposes," thus granting my cleric the appropriate bonuses for casting the banishment spell? |
