| BarrokTheBlack04-02-05, 10:42 AM | Barrok's Brain Blast Bats of Doomy Death Squish Conjuration [Sonic] [Mind Affecting] Level: Sor/Wiz 4 Components: V, S, M Casting Time: 1 Standard Action Range: Medium 100' +10' per level Area: 10'r (blast) Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: Ref (Half) Spell Resistance: Yes (negates) Barrok thought deeply one day and realised that he hadn't created any amusing spells for some time. The caster summons in an are a swirling clouds of bats with huge oversized brains who suddenly explode with a piercing screech. This causes 1d4 points of sonic damage per level (Max 15d4). If the targets fail their saving throw they must make a fortiude save also or be nauseated for 1d3 rounds as they are covered in brains and goo. (nauseated only affects those who are susceptable to the Mind Affected discriptor) material component:- a bat wing and a lump of brain matter N.B. I have given it a mind affecting discriptor so that creatures such as undead would not be effected by the nauseasted component of the spell. I thought I best explain why it was placed there just in case as it is part of an Enchantment effect |
| crazyguy83204-02-05, 10:54 AM | lol, the name of that spell is awesome. Not the most experienced with making spells, but one thing I'd say is not having a reflex save. Instead, have a will save. It makes more sense to me, since you can't really get away from noise, can you? |
| IceFractal04-02-05, 01:46 PM | Fortitude save, maybe? |
| crazyguy83204-02-05, 01:52 PM | Fortitude save, maybe? Yeah, that actually makes the most sense. Maybe get the guy to do 2 fortitude saves. First one to negate any damage, and then the second one to negate the naseau. It kinda is sketchy, since all the saves can kinda be applied to this. |
