May also need some description like: material cost have to be paid for etc, and spells only effect you etc. But that is not interseting part of the descritpion.

Overpowred, underpowered?

At last, my last spell:
(4) Prepered summoning
Conjuration
Level: Sor/Wiz 5
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: personal, short
Duration: 1h/level and 1round/level

With this spell you may use continuenzy and a summoning spell. For druids use summon natures ally 3, and for clerics/wiz/sorc/bards use summon monster. You aoutmaticly summon a creature when given condition apply. You still decide what you summon (from the list) and where within the range of the spell when condition apply. When spell is trigered it last of 1round/level. Else it last 1h/level.

I understand what you're trying to do here, but the name is all wrong. Try to come up with something more appropriate to the effect.

As for what it's doing, it's a clever and useful idea. For a caster, being able to get your defences up as fast as you can is always critical.

I too like the idea. Getting defensive spells up in a hurry is really important for mages.

I would put in the description a line that says all spells cast via this spell have their duration lowered to 1 round/level. If the duration is already shorter than one round (if possible), then the duration of that spell isn't changed. Just so people can't argue that once their shield is up, it should last 1 min/level.

I think the first two are great as is, but Greater Battle Suit... I wouldn't take that instead of most of the other 9th level spells... should be 7th or 8th level, and store 6 or 7 spell levels, respectively.

As for the summoning spell... I don't really understand. They can cast this spell and if their contingency is met within 1 hour/level, the summoning spell goes off and lasts 1 round/level. So you're trying to cover an area that contingency doesn't, then? But, are you limiting them to only being allowed to use it with Summon Monster 3 or lower? In general, I think this sounds more like a 5th level spell, especially if the contingency only lasts 1 hour/level.

I edited my post. Agree with your changes. I could probably given even more words to eliminate missuse of the spells.

I agree that greater battlesuit should be a 7th level spell. 6 levels of spells onto your charachter is still very good. Hmmm: mirror image, resiste fire, shield and protection from evil in one single spell :)

For prepared summoning:
Yes I am trying to cover something that continency does not cover. The level of the spell is very hard to determind. It could be argued that this works like a quickened summon monster, and therefore a 7th level spell. But a quickened summon monster 3 would not be worth a 7th level slot. And quickened is somewhat more flexible. So 7th level is to high. Maybe even 6th level is also too high. Cuz I do not feel it's worth a 6level spell, cuz at that time a dire-wolf is not that much worth anymore. Still, it can be the help you need when the situation is though. 5th level and I think it is a good spell which I actually would use.

Why not make it a 6th level spell like contingency, and allow any spell with the [Summoning] subschool to be cast?
