08-24-05, 09:41 AM I'm bored so I'm typing this. This thread has no real purpose so sorry if you read it and it wastes your time. Since potions can only be made of spells 3rd level or lower the ultimate potion brewer would be ftr5/clr5/dru5/wiz5. The caster levels have an obvious reasoning but the fighter levels are in there because since you suck at spell caster it adds a little umph to your fighting skills. I have actually played a character with this build and, although he sucks solo, is a really good support character.
High Octane
08-24-05, 09:59 AM Artificer beats that. He needs only level 2 in one class.
Lord Schpungus
08-24-05, 10:24 AM I would go find the book Magic of Faerun and pull out the Master Alchemist prestige class from it. It's not setting specific, and lets you create high-level potions (from 4th to 9th). Much better.
