Other than waiting for it to wear off, is there some way (magical or otherwise) for a character to become unstunned? We saw that Heal would remove a stunned condition but is that the lowest level spell we can use to removed the stunned condition?? |

The only other way I know of doing it .. is to be a Psion/Wilder type and using the feat Unconditional Power ... but that gets costly .. |

| lancean11-11-04, 09:49 AM | Believe it or not, Spell Immunity (Cler 4) will negate a mind flayer's blast and un-stun someone if cast after the fact. The blast is treated as a 4th level spell-like ability, and thus is a valid thing to have Spell Immunity protect against. Globe of Invulnerability (Sor/Wiz 6) will also stop the mind blast, but it will not un-stun someone after the fact. Break Enchantment (Bard 4, Pal 4, Cler/Sor/Wiz 5) would also un-stun a whole group of people at once, assuming the Mind Blast is an Enchantment (which I can't find any reference of). The jury is still out on this one. In fact, if we knew what school of effect a mind blast was, it would be possible to negate it with a Counterspell action. |

| Seeker9511-11-04, 03:32 PM | Aside from what Iancean said, the cure for stun is time. |
| dwarfpaladinmorlock11-11-04, 09:46 PM | Don't forget the casting time on the restorations. With a casting time of 3 rounds, it is not normally an in-combat spell. |
| thepuregamer11-12-04, 01:27 AM | would the bard's counter song work against mind blast? Or is the lack of sound make it so it is not applicable? |
