| wizard of Newfoundland10-24-06, 09:34 PM | It may have already been pointed out but if so i haven't seen it, in the paragraph labeled Combat it says: ...Control the terrain with spells such as grease and fog cloud Grease isn't in the spell list. Should it be? There are other battlefield control spells on there so it kinda fits but I would like some other opinions |
| smrtgmp10-25-06, 01:42 AM | I spotted that as well. I wish it was on there list of spells. I love grease. |
| NineInchNall10-25-06, 02:43 AM | It's called an artifact. I'm betting that the Beguiler spell list originally had quite a few other spells that were nixed in favor of PHB2 spells (most of which suck, except for vertigo, which saved my character's butt against a dragon). It seems standard practice for new classes to use spells exclusively from a the supplement in which they're contained. In the case of the Beguiler and Duskblade, however, this is plain odd, as the rest of the book makes extensive use of the Complete series. |
| smrtgmp10-26-06, 06:22 PM | The beguiler and duskblade get spells from outside the phb2. |

| smrtgmp10-26-06, 08:41 PM | Yeah, I know. The poster above me said that their spell lists drew exclusively from the PHB2. |
| NineInchNall10-27-06, 07:55 PM | Ugh. In addition to PHB spells. My lord. Sometimes you guys are little too literal. |
| smrtgmp10-28-06, 01:42 AM | What the hell was I supposed to think? I cant read minds. :P |
