| Link18206-25-05, 09:06 PM | I swear I saw this thing somewhere but I can't recall which book. It was essentially a hollowed out beholder corpse that a gnome or two could sit in and fly around. Perhaps it's in Libris Mortis? Its the coolest thing ever and I'm definetly putting it in my next game |
| Jaid06-25-05, 09:22 PM | uhhh... you do know you can do this with animate dead and a beholder skeleton, right? as in, no special rules are needed... 'course, it'd be pretty near totally useless for anything except flying around. but i guess you could mount weapons on it or something, or just use it for spying. in any event, since it uses it's own actions to move, no pilot is necessary. enjoy. |

It's flying transport for a medium or two small humanoids as well as having a few eye rays (inflict, sleep, slow, and telek). It's basically a necrmantic wonderous item for a bit over 100k gp. The picture is of a gnome piloting one with the hatch open (also in the contents page). |
