| Evil DM Mk304-29-07, 06:12 PM | Seeing as the duration is instantaious rather than see text, I would guess the latter, but yes, vauge it is. |

I am ruling it that way for now in my PnP campaign, but when you put it next to other 2nd level spells (like Acid Arrow, which is fairly similar) it seems too strong. |

(Compare the way belker claws is written with chill touch.) |

You hit once then it deals damage every round if I recall correctely. In order to use the spell you need to make a melee touch attack. Melee is just one of those places a wizard prefers not to be :D. |

No you get the hold a charge on a melee touch attack if missed. On a side note of power...yes it seems poweful because it's a damage spell actually worth using when your in dire trouble. 2d4 from a safe range or 2d12 from a I'm gonna die next round range...humm seems fair. |

| Cold Napalm05-06-07, 04:13 PM | You can hold a charge for ALL touch spells. It's in the magic section :) . |
| Nigel Rorris05-06-07, 04:25 PM | And once he hits the spell is discharged and runs its duration on the first target hit? |
| Evil DM Mk305-06-07, 06:52 PM | Yup. |
| Nigel Rorris05-06-07, 07:57 PM | Thanks all for confirming what I figured |
