| Phase01-12-06, 05:11 AM | Can you use a hidden pouches belt (Races of Wild) or a bag of holding to quickdraw a weapon or item from them? |
| Seeker9501-12-06, 09:23 AM | Sure. Why couldn't you? |
| Inigo Carmine01-12-06, 09:28 AM | I don't know about the hidden belt puches, but I would say no for the bag of holding. Retrieving a specific item from a bag of holding is a move action—unless the bag contains more than an ordinary backpack would hold, in which case retrieving a specific item is a full-round action. When you take something from the bag of holding, it's more a retrieve object action, not a "drawing a weapon" action. |
| Seeker9501-12-06, 09:43 AM | If there were such things as "retrieve object" actions and "drawing a weapon" actions, that might be right. Quick Draw: You can draw a weapon as a free action instead of as a move action. You can draw a hidden weapon (see the Sleight of Hand skill) as a move action. A (more full than an ordinary backpack) bag of holding takes a full round to retrieve something from, and Quick Draw would reduce this to a move action instead. |

| tarkin01-12-06, 11:05 AM | From the SRD: Retrieving any specific item from a haversack is a move action, but it does not provoke the attacks of opportunity that retrieving a stored item usually does |
