Hey,
So my next character will be a Wizard/Cleric/Mystic Theurge. My DM is nice enough to let me choose spells out of the Complete books to use in addition to the PHB spells.

question 1: What are some of the most fun spells you've used out of the Complete books? Cool effects, easy to use, etc.

question 2: What are some of the most effective spells in the Complete series? most damage, hardest to resist, good combos, etc.

thanks in advance

I know this isn't exactly what you were requesting, but I recommend that you check for yourself first, so that our opinins don't form yours. Since you say you already have access to the books, it should be easy to glance through the pages and see which ones strike your fancy.

I've already looked through them and decided which I like right off the bat. Just thought I'd get some opinions in case I missed something.

Vigor spells yield more healing than standard cure spells.

Also note that if you cas them on a character before combat (and they have not run out of duration) they automatically stabilize a fallen character.

i personaly like nimbus of light from CD. its good at low levels and can still be pretty useful as you get more powerful.

I rather like the Orb of _____ and Lesser Orb of _____ spells from Complete Arcane, since they ignore spell resistance and do full damage so long as they hit. Their real edge, however, is that they can score critical hits :D

Defenestrating sphere! Throw people around (and if you're lucky, out of windows)!
