Best domains to represent positive/negative energy: healing/destruction? Sun/death? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I'm just thinking a bit about cosmology-oriented clerics. You have the outer planes (which embody Good, Chaos, Evil, and Law) and the inner planes (which embody Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Positive, and Negative). Clerics have domains dealing explicitly and obviously with Air, Chaos, Earth, Evil, Fire, Good, Law, and Water, but I'm not sure what domains best represent positive and negative energy.

For positive energy, strong candidates seem like sun and healing.

For negative energy, death and destruction seem like possible candidates.

Any ideas? Overall, I want a domain with rather modest power, not a really "optimal" domain.

How about this?

For Positive Energy
Healing
Sun
Plant

For Negative Energy
Death
Destruction
Darkness (standard)
Darkness (Book of Vile Darkness)

Is that good enough for now?

My apologies: I was unclear. I had hoped to narrow it down to one domain for positive energy and one domain for negative energy. What I'm mainly looking for is help narrowing the possible candidates down.

I guess I'll probably keep it as healing/death. By the way, the reason I'm asking is because I'm curious about what domains Planar Mediums (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=816375), my idea for clerics who don't draw power from either deities, religions, or abstract philosophical concepts, have available. I know that they can access air, chaos, earth, evil, fire, good, law, and water. (the alignment domains require the planar medium to be of that alignment, although they don't require him to be dedicated to that alignment philosophically. The others are unrestricted.)

Currently, they can pick Death and Healing too, to represent focused connection to the negative or positive energy planes.
