Minor creation is a 4th level spell that lets you conjure any simple cloth or wood item.

Major creation is 5th level and includes metal and stone

Fabricate is 5th level and lets you create any item from existing materials.

What are some of your ideas for the best uses of these spells?

Are these spells powerful and useful enough to justify these high level spell slots?

Ive killed like a dozen bad guys by conjuring rope and either replacing key parts of rope bridges with my rope, or simple rope ladders. Once done you lure them onto the conjured rope and then dismiss the spell as a move action. Bye bye... thanks minor creation.

I blew up a giant stronghold once with fabricate. I was a gnome from lantan with the knowledge of smokepowder. I worked out that i could make like 500 lbs of Gunpowder and i bought the supplies after some teleporting. I teleported into the stronghold, dumped out my bags of holding, poped my scroll of delayed blast fireball and then winked out far enough to safely watch the show. It took me less than a week.

I would have to say that fabricate is the best of these though, if you have the skillz. You can make instant money basically by buying supplies, mass producing and then selling it all cheap. If you think about it, the alchemy skill ist he best for this. How many vials of antitoxin could you fit into 10 cubic feet?

Poison anyone?

Fabricate, I love that spell. A lot of people go for armor and weapons to make money with it.

I figured out that for sheer saleability and market potential with a large profit margin is Needles Market price 5 sp. Per needle. You can make thousands of them per cubic foot per level you can effect with the spell.
Every common household on up to the kings and Emperor’s needs and wants needles so demand is high everywhere you go.

If you can make 2,000 needles per cubic foot (and I think that’s on the low side) at half market price it is 500 gp per cubic foot.

While I have never been lucky enough to have a campaign last long enough to use these spells, I always wanted to spend a few hours with Fabricate to add new traps to an enemies keep, expecually when the DM has you explore the keep while the boss is away. All you are doing is leaving him/her a few unexpected 'gifts' :evillaugh

Most needes in medeival times were made out of bone, which is subject to the 10ft cube per level for being organic.

thats a lot of needles. time to hit a graveyard or something... or dragonbone needles!
