Bestow Curse, Greater Question [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-22-06, 01:58 PM In the Spell Compendium "Bestow Curse, Greater" is listed on the Cleric and Sorc/Wiz spell list, and in the Complete Divine its listed on the Bard, Cleric and Sorc/Wiz spell list. Was this done on purpose or is it a misprint in the Spell Compendium?

02-22-06, 02:04 PM should be a misprint in the complete divine cause bards cant ever cast bestow curse, so would be weird to being able to cast the greater version.

The c.d. version it is a copy-paste of the vile darkness book, the original source of the spell.

02-22-06, 02:50 PM Newer editions supersede older editions, assuming multiple versions are available and neither is core. Therefore, Spell Compendium trumps Complete Divine if you are using both.
