Zuractai 04-17-07, 07:19 PM	Can someone be affected by more then one Bestow curse at the same time? I would assume they wouldn't stack, but as long as you aplied differant curses... And can you bestow a curse weaker then those listed? For instance giving a -4 only to saves? Or even only -4 to one type of save. It says you can make up your own curses, and I know I read at least one book that lists some variants, so it would seem like you could make weaker ones if you wanted...
Deep Blue 9000 04-17-07, 08:44 PM	Multiple bestow curses overlap, not stack. This means you could cast different versions of bestow curse on the target and have them all affect him. You could also give weaker versions of curses since bestow curse lets you make up curses as long as they're not stronger than the standard ones. However, your plan isn't going to work. A curse that gives -4 to all saves and a curse that gives -4 to reflex saves don't stack. The net effect would just be -4 to all saves.

With that would you say something like -6 (or 8, but that might be crazy) to a single save, as long as their is some stipulation that if for instance a -4 to all saves was applied it would override it (Otherwise you could just have 3 curses each affecting a differant save, which is not my intention.)

Hmm, -6 to one check sounds fine. It is perhaps a little weak. This might be about right though: -4 penalty to Reflex saves, whenever the cursed creature makes a Reflex save roll twice and take the lower result. Again though, if someone then placed the -4 penalty on all saves, checks, and attack rolls curse on this person, they'd still only have a -4 penalty to reflex saves. Penalties from the same source (in this case Bestow Curse) don't stack. -Drachasor
