When performing combat maneuvers with telekinesis, what sort of actions does it take? Does the move action I use each round to concentrate suffice, or need I spend a standard action as well? And if I must use a standard action, can I benefit from Expertise?

EDIT: Yet another thing they changed in 3.5. Concentration is now a standard action. Hence, you still have a move action left over, and because your standard action is spent concentrating, even if on an attack, you cannot benefit from Expertise.

Also, a heads-up to anyone who checked the PHB---the glossary's wrong. It states that concentrating on a spell provokes an AoO, but p. 140 in the PHB says it doesn't. By the laws of primary source, it doesn't.

um it was always a standard action.

From the 3.0 SRD:

"Concentrate to maintain or redirect a spell [Standard][AoO: No]

Description: Anything that could break a character's concentration when casting a spell can keep a character from concentrating to maintain a spell. If a character's concentration breaks, the spell ends.

Funny...for some reason I thought it was a move action in 3.0.
