| smrtgmp10-08-04, 06:01 PM | Wow...just, wow. There are so many cool spells/feats etc for necromancers in Libris Mortis it makes me giddy. The best BBEGs just got better. Hooray for Necromancers! :) |
| Seeker9510-08-04, 08:02 PM | Unfortunately, far too many DMs are going to allow far too many players to select these for their PCs. |
| fatal error10-08-04, 08:35 PM | Well why not? After all, from what the art gallery titles are it looks like there is a section on playing undead PCs. And anyway, what fun is it if only the DM gets the goodies? Though I must say, in general it looks like it is obviously more useful for DMs. |
| smrtgmp10-08-04, 11:52 PM | A lot of the stuff seems to be geared for DMs, but a fair amount of it is suitable for players. It would be especially useful for players who are looking for more of an anti-hero. I havent gotten a chance to study the book in depth (I just got it this morning) but I havent come across anything yet that I think would unbalance my campaign (or one of the ones I play in). Thats not to say I wont, though.;) |

| Vaalingrade Ashland10-09-04, 02:33 PM | I have that one. I want something as indepth as the Libris Mortis though, you know, a construct maker class, construct PCs (yay, Eberron), all that good stuff. The Mongoose book just has the tools, I want the whole kit. |
