Can you Persist the Bigby's line of spells (ie. Bigby's Grasping Hand)?
Can you direct the hand's to do anything else?
Can you have Bigby's Grasping Hand move the grappled opponent arround?
Can you have Bigby's Grasping Hand grapple you and then direct it to move you where ever you want?

1- Why couldn't you

2 - No

3 - No, as in interposing hand, it stays between you and the designated opponent, but you can Bull Rush with it

4 - No, can only grapple opponent that you designate.

Remember they all just stay between you and your target, they are not telekenesis.

Same as above, except-
Persistent spells must either be Personal or have a fixed range. The Hand spells are neither. Sorry, dUde.

I don't see why you couldn't designate yourself as it's target, honestly. These are some spells with which one should be lenient and generous. I've used them to do intresting things like reinforce dams and hold up bridges to get villagers and such like out of harm's way. Which isn't, technically speaking, following the letter of the spell.

The spells are highly limited in what they can do.

In order of level (they tend to inherit lower level capabilities)

Interpose (provide cover bonus)
Bull rush (push people)
Grasp (grapple people, but no squeeze, move, disarm, etc options)
Punch (hit for direct damage)
Crush (grapple for damage)

Now...a hand could perhaps hold a gate closed, by "bull rushing" it each turn, or force it open (if the DM assumed bull rushing a closed door might cause a str roll to burst it) it could perhaps push a willing ally somewhere else on the battlefield (by bull rushing them) it could perhaps "pick up" an object or creature (but in grasping or crushing mode it doesn't move) and it could certainly bash an object in punching mode or destroy it in crushing mode.

But mostly the spells are more brutally powerful but not nearly as flexible as telekenesis. Violent thrust will get one (not too heavy) party member plus some other stuff near him suddenly somewhere else. You can do all grapple, trip, bull rush, disarm maneuvers with TK but your str mod and size mod are probably lower, etc.

I don't see why you couldn't designate yourself as it's target, honestly. You can. But that does not change the "Target:" nature of the spell. Whether you can target yourself or not is not the requirement for persistent spell. The spell must be "Target: Personal (or You)" to be made persistent. The Bigby spells are not personal. Personal means the only possible target is you. That would make Bigby rather useless.

I guess you might allow it to be persistent if you would be the target, but even that is very arguable (and kinda useless)
