Just a quick question from a beginner wizard.

Is it possible to bind your familiar into something, like a golem? Thus keeping him safe and giving you a handy golem to hit things.

Just wondered if there was any sort of book that covered this or such-like.
Cheers!

There are some feats that improve your familliar. Including one that lets you have a guardian familliar which is a type of construct AKA golem.

Sadly I cannot recall where this feat hails from.

You get them the same way you get any improved familiar, via the improved familiar feat. Big surprise, eh? ;)

If you have the power to transfer souls to a construct it should be possible to do that with the sould of your familiar.

Probably that weird 9th level psion power?

Ah well, no harm done, just thought it would be cool having a golem delivering your touch spells for you.

Thanks for the help guys.
