Can I use this spell while im wildshaped?
It does not state that cant be done... my question would be about attacks... if lets say, im wildhsaped into a bear, then I cast this spell... my attack damage would be equal to that of the spell, right? But Id still get the benefits of the spell....??

It would replace the bite attack of the Bear. It's just like if you cast Fist of Stone, it replaces your normal attacks with your hand (unarmed strike).

1. Yes you can do that.

2. You gain enhancement bonuses to Dex and Con. Those stack with the wildshape (but not a spell/magic item that grans them).

3. If you follow the original spell, then you gain a +3 natural armor when your skin changes. This is NOT an enhancement bonus, it is a set value, which can DECREASE your Natural Armor. Your skin takes on the appearance of a were-rat, which is LESS thick than a brown/polar bear. If you were wildshaped into a brown bear or Polar bear, your Natural Armor drops from +5 to +3. If you had wildshaped into a black bear, it goes up from +2 to +5.

However, apparently I am informed below that the Spell Compendium version has changed this to an Enhancement bonus

4. You use the natural bite appropriate for your size. 1d3 would be for a small creature, 1d4 for a medium, but a Brown or Polar bears are Large, so you get 1d6.

Note, again, this is lower than the standard 1d8 for the Brown or polar bear.

The spell states +X to NA as enhancement bonus, so NA raises, but does not change...
The idea is using it when I need more AC o perhaps when I need to hit for sure if im wildshaped into something with similiar STR and DEX scores. For example at level 5 using it when im wildshaped into a fleshraker.

I do still have a question. in the case of having VoP, when describes the NA Ex ability, states that you gain a +1 NA bonus... in this case if I wildshape into an animal this +1 becomes the NA of the animal or becomes the NA of the animal +1???
Becuase the ability states that you gain +1 NA bonus or your existing NA increases by 1

I refuse to cast "Bite of the ..." spells with my druid. They are disgustingly overpowered when combined with wild-shape.

What are you basing this off of? I'm looking at the spell in my Spell compendium and it clearly says "+3 Enhancement Bonus to Natural Armor."

Overpowered?? Hm... actually could be, but its duration is not that great.... just one round level... i think it can be used as emergency spell.... because it does not last very much

The original spell, found on the WoTC web site (link below) said +x Natural Armor bonus, and did not say "enhancement bonus". http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/sb/sb20020209a

I did not read the Spell Compendium (I am at work).

The Spell Compendium version is newer, and should over-ride the original spell.

That said, it does work VERY well with wildshaping
