What happens, if i cast one of these Spells on my Animal Companion. What happens to the attack of my Animal Companion ? cya |
| TygerTyger02-27-07, 09:17 AM | Not entirely sure I understand your question... the spells lay out the benefits conferred quite handily. Are you asking would your animal comapnion lose its normal attack modes? If that is the question, it doesn't appear so, as the attack modes granted appear to be in addition to the normal attack bonuses. Now, that said, if you have a triceratops animal companion, casting charge of the triceratops on it would probably have no effect. :) |
| [GSV] Kirstar02-27-07, 11:13 AM | The entire series of Bit of the were creature spells are totally unbalenced. +16str and a con bonus etc my left nut sack. They just function as written, if your DM is silly enough to allow them. They arnt perm effect |

A bite with poison or a Vampire slam with energy drain, does this monster retains in its new form these abilitys? |

| TygerTyger03-01-07, 10:00 AM | What Vaelan said. Now, if there is some dispute as to which version of the attack is "better"... then I'd have to say its probably a DM call, though I'd take the spell chanted version. Sort of makes sense that the spell is replacing the existing fangs/horns/whatever with the spell's version. |

I consider the Bite of the X spells mild in comparison. |
| [GSV] Kirstar03-02-07, 03:58 AM | except you can house rule poly spells into balence. |
| Osedox03-02-07, 01:23 PM | Well if your going to use that sort of roundabout logic, you can houserule anything into fairness. Just raise each of the spell levels by one. |
