| WombleHunter09-07-05, 06:58 AM | Not usually, I think. I believe the spell states that ALL creatures in the area are grappled. However, in Complete Adventurer I noticed the feat called "Extraordinary Spell Aim" which allows you to exclude a single creature from a spell's area. Now, because the feat specifies that a single creature is excluded as opposed to an area, it looks at first glance like you could use it with Black Tentacles, exclude (say) yourself from the area and thus be immune to that casting of the spell, since you are excluded from the area at the time of casting but the spell's area persists. I wonder if you could also use this with Anti-Magic Field... |
