basicly it makes your weapons flaming, its a second level spell but its listed duration is one round.

one round!

a mage can't hit the broad side of a barn in one round!

tell me that is a misprint.

It takes only a swift action to cast the spell, so they can cast it and attack in the same round. Plus it affects up to two weapons simultaneously and stacks with other energy damage (so your flaming sword does 2d6 fire damage for a round).

Its also a ranger spell and they are quite good at hitting things, what with their full BAB. Also, if said ranger takes extend spell, it'll last for 2 rounds of two-flaming weapon goodness. This spell is also good for gish builds and warmages. And a hexblade can take extra spell to learn it and they'll have fun with such a spell.

I think its an okay spell, I'd never take it personally but that it because I don't play combat-casters.
