| smrtgmp05-27-05, 06:05 PM | If it says weapon touched, it wouldnt affect natural weapons. However, a monks fist is treated as both a natural weapon and a manufactured weapon, so its fair game. |
| Scifione05-27-05, 06:31 PM | dtto A monks fist etc. are treated as natural and manutactured weapons. The oil would not help a creature with a natural weapon, but it would help a monk. You would need a potion of magic fang for your animal friends. The monk could also bennifit from this one. what was that *** in my post for??? Oh well! fixed it. |

| smrtgmp05-28-05, 03:50 PM | what was that *** in my post for??? Oh well! fixed it.I think you left the "n" out of "fang." Not to call you a liar or anything, but what's the reference for that ruling? I hate the concept someone might be applying holy bless oil to their freakin wolf animal companions paws...but it is a weapon...No, it wouldnt work on natural weapons, because they are not technically weapons as far as the spell bless weapon is concerned. The monk is another matter, because his natural weapons are also concidered manufactured weapons for the purpose of determining how they interact with spells. |
| pawsplay05-29-05, 12:07 AM | The monk description is what states the monk's attacks are treated as either natural or manufactured weapons, whichever is more favorable. While a wolf companion is dangerous, it is not a "weapon," and thus ineligible as a target of the spell. |
