I did not know where to put this but since blindsense seems like a spell like ablility I will ask it here. Can blindsense detect if an invisible creature(per invisibility spell) is nearby

Actually it's a constantly active extraordinary ability. To best understand blindsense, think of the character Daredevil. Similarly a character with blindsense uses all their 5 senses (and possibly the 6th) in tandem and to a higher degree--though Daredevil took it over the top.

But yes, you could easily detect an invisible creature by using blindsense. However, I also must point out that you won't know precisely where it is. You'll know it's there and in what direction. You won't know its exact location. Now blindsight on the other hand...that'll find it exactly.

Blindsight, however, is usually more akin to echolocation (sp?) and is subsequently easier to foil. For most creatures blindsight is sound-based only and is ruined by things that cause deafness or generate an area of silence. Still, there are some other forms such as heat-based ones. Those are niiiiiiice.

Blindsense allows you to detect an invisble creature's exact location (his square), however, you still suffer 50% against them.

Blindsight, detects their exact location (as above) AND negates the concealment penalty.
