michael_noah 03-05-04, 04:32 PM	A question: What happens if a person on the ethereal plane casts blink, or when a person under the effect of blink is transported to the ethereal plane? The answer, by the wording of the spell blink, would be that the effects of blink would function as normal: Others would have a 50%/20% miss chance. Movement would be 3/4 normal, etc. There are some interesting things that happen, then, though - like if you are on the ethereal plane on the second story of an ethereal building, and cast blink, you fall "through the floor" when you blink to the material plane. You would also fall if flying on the ethereal plane. There may also be a general ruling about planar effects such as blink not working when anywhere other than the Prime Material, but I can't think of where it is... Anyway... ideas?
Seeker95 03-05-04, 05:13 PM	Wherever you are, treat blink like blink. If you are already on the ethereal plane, it won't work.
