Blink greater help with description [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-10-07, 07:24 PM I haven't understand what the spell description says about the 20% missing probability when you cast a spell or when you attack. I only understood that i can ready an action to be ethereal and no more. Please could someone tell me about what happen if someone attack me or if i attack someone during this spell???

Thanks a lot - the spell is in the complete arcane lv 5 of sorcer/wizard

10-10-07, 11:27 PM If someone attacks you, they have a 50% miss chance, just like with regular blink. If you attack someone, you have no miss chance.

10-10-07, 11:54 PM Also, you can ready an action to go ethereal when someone attacks you. That means you take no action that turn, and instead wait for someone to attack you -- when they do, you have the option to use up your action to "go ethereal" so that their attack automatically fails.
