My dm decided to allow my necromancer to take, after a short quest, a particular maho (blood magic) spell (from Rokugan the book), which allows you to create any undead supported by the system, after a very lengthy ritual, a sacrifice of blood and a sentient and gaining lots of taint (which is a very bad thing). This is all fine, since I have no end of 'volunteers' or blood, but the game we run does not use taint or any similar system. The dm has entirely approved the taking of the spell, in fact, he suggested it, and I do very much want to see deathbringer generals in my legion, but we are at a loss in what to do concerning what replaces taint. We have considered adding an xp cost, but we'd like some assistance in deciding, everything we think of doesn't really capture the 'evilness' of what we're doing (and evil is good). A lasting evil is just the start here. |
