I'm playing a sorcerer with Copper Dragon blood. In Dragon Issue 311, arcticle Arcane Ancestry, one can take a bloodline feat to gain bloodline spells, but it also limits the spells one can learn (1 per spell level). Does anyone have any ideas on spells for the banned lists (the gained ones are pregenrated)?

Actually, the feat grants you one spell per level, but spells eliminated from your sorcerer's spell list are supposed to be from an entire category, typically spells with a common descriptor.

After perusing the description for a Copper Dragon in the Monster Manual, the most appropriate spells to be denied are those with the [water] descriptor. The only problem with that is that there aren't any [water] spells on the PHB sorcerer spell list.

The feat is specific about involving your DM in this decision though, and I think you'll need him to work this out.
