Would the 100 gp per spell that the Geometer uses for his book of geometry get ignored or would he pay 75 gp per spell? |
| Vegepygmy08-05-07, 01:46 AM | The 25 gp is a typo. As for the geometer + blessed book thing, there is a split of opinion. The majority (as I have counted them) believe that a geometer can indeed fit 1,000 spells into a blessed book, all for free. The minority believe that the geometer's ability doesn't (or maybe just shouldn't) "stack" with a blessed book. |

So I would say it is also free for the Geometer. Note that in the SRD, the "Blessed Book" (Boccob is proprietary or something, but it's the same item) correctly lists 100gp as the price that spells normally cost per page. http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/wondrousItems.htm#blessedBook I don't recall anything particular that a Geometer had to write his spells in besides a "spellbook", which implies it is exactly the same kind of book. |
