| Loki565401-22-05, 12:37 AM | One of my fellow players was lamenting his Body of the Sun spell from the Complete Divine and the fact that he damage seems woefully underpowered. Then I found the spell Fireburst in the Complete Arcane that is basically the same spell except that Fireburst does 1d8/level and BoS does 1d4+1 (and that's all! not /level, not +1/level, just plain old 1d4 +1). Does this seem like a mistake to anyone else? I checked the Errata but nada. They are both second level spells yet one does a heckuva lot more damage than the other. Is his Shaman getting shafted or is my Wizard getting special treatment? Please help, thanks! |
