Body Outside Body dilemma [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-24-06, 10:05 PM ok here's the situation: I wildshape into something, cast giant size, and then cast body outside body. Are my clones giant and wildshaped? I cannot find anything that says they wouldn't be, but it sounds almost too unbalanced.

for reference, this was the build i was planning on using:
drd 3/wu jen 3/ arcane hierophant 10, master of many forms 4

08-25-06, 06:01 PM Can't help. But if the spell makes a clone, make sure it specifies whether it copies existing spell effects that are on your character. Or ask yourself if other spell effects would reasonably transfer. For example, if you had Faerie Fire cast on you, would your clone also have it? Or what if you're the subject of ability drain, does your clone come in drained of ability? Or what if you're ethereal, same thing? Or what if you're poisoned, fatigued or shaken, will your clone appear that way? If you falied a save vs a gaseous spell, would your clone not have to bother making a save becuase it would come in automatically affected?

Hmm that might not help. But look for key words in teh spell description.
