Veregon 06-21-04, 08:37 PM	If you get an item that bumps up your caster level (ex: Orange Ioun Stone), do you get spells per day as if you were one level higher or is it only your damage dice and caster level checks that are affected?
Sancus 06-21-04, 09:10 PM	Only damage dice and caster level checks, unless the item specifically says otherwise. An example of an item that does specify otherwise(that you get the spells per day) is the candle of invocation.

glenw77 06-21-04, 11:49 PM	As I understand it you also get extended range and duration and any other "per level" spell effect, not just damage dice and caster level. But no, you do not get extra spells.
