Bonus Spells Question [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-17-07, 04:20 PM I have a doubt about bonus spells.
Can a spell caster whose spell ability modifier provides him bonus spells of a level to which it doesn't have access yet convert these spells to a lower level spell?

Exemple: A 1st lvl cleric with a wisdom score of 18. He has bonus spells till 4th lvl. Can he use his bonus 2nd, 3rd and 4th lvl spells to prepare 1st level spells?
