| Tirith04-12-04, 01:36 PM | I'm looking for a spell that makes an explosion, or at least a large amount of pressure. I planned on making an ineffecient cannon for NPCs or for use in traps or such. If anyone can think of a spell that acomplishes this I would be thankful. Also anyone who can come up for a use of this spell would also be helpful. Feel free to criticize this idea if you feel it's nessacary. Thank You. |
| Seeker9504-12-04, 02:04 PM | Is your objective a magical explosion at a target destination, or is your objective to magically propel a cannon shell? If the former, then fireball (or even delayed blast fireball) could accomplish your objective. If the latter, then telekinesis, with the projectile causing whatever damage such an object would normally cause. |
| Tirith04-12-04, 02:09 PM | If you read the fireball description it says that the blast creates almost no pressure otherwise that would solve the problem. The effect of a pressurized fireball is what I'm looking for. |
| Seeker9504-12-04, 02:25 PM | Again, which is your objective? The explosion at the target, or the means of propelling an object? |
| Wizard04-12-04, 02:45 PM | Gas Cloud, from either Relics & Rituals or R&R 2 (I forget which), creates a cloud of gas that will explode doing damage equal to a fireball of the same CL. It's not pressure-less, though. |
| SmiloDan04-12-04, 03:20 PM | Maybe Shout or Greater Shout? In D20 Modern, I THINK that sonic damage is also called concussive damage. |
