See title. If I have a char with a pair of boots with the spell spiderclimb 1/day (or so) - could the char activate them, climb up on a wall or so and then use a bow? The spell says the char needs two hands to climb in this way - but would I need two hands just to stand still on the wall?

Does a warlocks spiderWALK-invocation need two hands? It refers to the spell spiderclimb = need two hands? Could a warlock spiderwalk up a wall and fire an eldritch blast (somatic component = at least one hand needed) and still stay on the wall or would the warlock fall?

Are there any official text regarding this? Thx in advance!

You need two hands to climb the wall, not to stand on it.
Same for a warlock. Yes, he can climb with both hands, stop, and eldritch blast.

Spider climb is great for getting out of reach of melee, using ranged weapons, and getting the elevation bonuses in combat (although I cannot find them in the SRD in the brief time it took to put this together).
