Bracers of Brobdingnagian Physique

These bracers are made of thick leather, with dozens of different sized spikes protruding outward. Three time per day a command word can be spoken. The wearer gains the following benefits for five minutes.
After the command word is said the item causes an instant growth of the wearer, doubling its height and multiplying its weight by 8. This increase changes the wearer’s size category to the next larger one. The wearer gains a +6 size bonus to Strength, a –2 size penalty to Dexterity (to a minimum of 1), and a –1 penalty on attack rolls and AC due to its increased size.
If the wearer size increases to Large they have a space of 10 feet and a natural reach of 10 feet. This affect does not change the wearer’s speed.
If insufficient room is available for the desired growth, the wearer attains the maximum possible size and may make a Strength check (using its increased Strength) to burst any enclosures in the process. If it fails, it is constrained without harm by the materials enclosing it— the affect does not crush a wearer by increasing its size.
All equipment worn or carried by a wearer is similarly enlarged by the spell. Melee and projectile weapons affected by this spell deal more damage. Other magical properties are not affected by this spell. Any enlarged item that leaves the wearer’s possession (including a projectile or thrown weapon) instantly returns to its normal size. This means that thrown weapons deal their normal damage, and projectiles deal damage based on the size of the weapon that fired them. Magical properties of enlarged items are not increased by this spell.
Moderate transmutation, Cl 5; enlarge person, bull strength

:b: Hello everyone just trying out a new item. Fairly simple in design, but with two spell affects with one command word. Comments and suggestion welcome.

p.s. for those wondering Brobdingnagian is a word. It means enormous. I found it in the thesaurus under giant. I probably couldn’t pronounce correctly, but I thought it would be cool to use.

The item title falls short of the effect, considering that Brobdingnagians are at least Gargantuan if not Colossal. IIRC they first turned up in book two of Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift. See http://www.jaffebros.com/lee/gulliver/bk2/ for this astonishingly vivid description of an adventure in a land where every life form is 3-4 size categories larger than one normally expects.

I probably couldn’t pronounce correctly, but I thought it would be cool to use.Brohb-ding-nayjee-ehn, or brohb-ding-nahjee-ehn. Take your pick. Just remember, it rhymes with "flowdingnagian". ;)

Thanks for the info. Beside the name, do you think there is any issues that need to be hammered flat.

:b: Any last suggestion before I let the thread die?
