| jensson03-10-07, 11:01 AM | Hello. Is bracers of defense the same as bracers of armor?  |
| WinDReiN03-10-07, 11:02 AM | Where did you find brac of defense? |
| jensson03-10-07, 11:05 AM | In a adventure on a npc i may use in the game. |
| DrMorganes03-10-07, 11:16 AM | Sounds like an older module. "Bracers of Defense" were the pre-3.x name for Bracers of Armor. |
| WinDReiN03-10-07, 11:44 AM | Ask your DM what is it, try to indentify it... |
| cwslyclgh03-10-07, 12:41 PM | bracers of defense, as DrMorganes stated are what bracers of armor were called in 1e and 2e. since it sounds like you are the DM, (you are thinking of using a module) my advice would be to just convert them straignt across, remebering that armor calss goes up now instead of down so to find the plus of the bracers count how far away from ten they take your AC and make it a positive number. thus bracers of defense AC 8 would become bracers of armor +2, while bracers of defense of AC 2 would become bracers of armor +8. hope that helps. |
