| Seeker9510-24-03, 12:58 PM | Sunglasses? I actually wouldn't allow such an item in my campaign, but if you are going to permit it, sunglasses will work just fine. |
| tarkin10-24-03, 01:02 PM | 1) There is feat that does it. 2) Sun protecting GOGGLES have been created by WoTC. They were in the NightFang Spire adventure, and were used by Vampire. |
| necrosnoop11010-24-03, 01:04 PM | Why wouldn't allow an item like that. There is a feat in the FRCS that grants light adaptation. It’s just as a Rogue I have so few feats and was looking for a magical substitute. |
| Seeker9510-24-03, 02:17 PM | I would not allow them for the very reason you gave. You have a rogue and want to play a drow. But you do not want to use your existing limited resources (a feat) to overcome the primary drow weakness. Drow have weaknesses for a reason. They are already more powerful than the standard races, even with the weaknesses. However, there is nothing in the core rules that say you cannot make or use such an item. How I play my game does not need to define how you play yours. |
