My Wizard/palemaster/archmage has been given governership over a small town, and has decided to build a tower on an adjacent hill. Besides being home/sanctuary/labratory, it will be a symbol of his power and status.

Soooo... that being said, what spells would help with the construction of the tower? I have had a few ideas. Skeletal workers would reduce labor costs and could work 24/7. If I could figure out how to raise a solid cylinder of stone, I could disintagrate the interrior chambers. Perhaps the best way would be combining the skeleton crew with mud to stone spells. They can easily haul in mud, shape it into walls, and such, and then I cast mud to stone on it, and viola, just like pottery class.

Anyways, I would love to hear more ideas.

Wall of stone, stone shape, and wall of force?

Or... uhh... check out this magical post of goodness: Wizard's tower (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=349761)

Stronghold Builder's Guidebook has all the info you need, even price reductions for having access to certain spells. Useful spells are telekinesis, fly (for getting up there), levitate (for getting the stuff up there), and some others I don't remember.

Fabricate. So you can make a Lyre of building. After that, go nuts.
