Stupid question, but I need confirmation. Does Bull Strength stack? Can you make this spell permanent? Can you stack it permanent? Simple answers will not do. I need reasons to satisfy my players. Thanks ahead of time for any replies.

With very few exceptions, bonuses with the same name (enhancement, luck, deflection...) don't stack with themselves. Most commonly, same named bonus durations overlap as appropriate, so if you have a belt of giant strength +2 and a bull's strength spell for +4, the spell would apply for its duration (so you increase your strength by 2) until it expires, at which point only the +2 from your belt applies.

I need reasons to satisfy my players.show them the Bonus Types and Behind the Curtian: Stacking Bonuses section on page 21 of the Dungeon Master's Guide... that should do the trick.
