Some spell ideas i had, and i figured id make them for all three main sources of power in DnD. They prolly arent exactly balanced at this point, which is why i brought them here, but i think theyre close, lemme just point out the things i think make them balanced for their level.
1) You lose your power too.
2) Based off of Will, the highest save for casters.
The main reason i wanted to keep them mid level range is because they are being developed to go on a Mystic Theurge character, while not inheirently fair to the opposed caster, just seems too damn cool in my mind not to make a spell for, even if it will prolly never see use. Imagine ripping their spellcasting from them, and then blasting them with the other kind you have mastery over, mwahahaha, good for DM's to use too thou.
So flame, critisize, love, hate, and generally read away!

Burn Arcana
Universal [Really doesn’t fit in any category, has elements of Necromancy(neg energy), Abjuration(Banishment), and Enchantment(Control)]
Level: Arcane Casting Class 3
Components: V, S, F
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100ft + 10ft./level)
Target: One arcane caster
Duration: 1d4+1 rounds
Saving Throw: Will Negates
Spell Resistance: Yes
By casting this spell you invoke all of your arcane energies in an attack on a single other casters powers, this works as a form of counterspelling, but in essence you focus all of your arcane energies on blocking and canceling out the other casters spellcasting ability. If the target fails his will save both your and the targets arcane casting abilities are drained until the duration of the spell ends. If the subject succeeds his will save the spell simply fails and you are not bereft of your power. This in effect makes your arcane casting ability nonexistent, thus you cannot activate spell trigger or spell completion, but this has no effect on command word activated or use activated items.
Focus: A statue of yourself facing a faceless opponent, made of solid silver, and worth 500gp.

Drain Divinity
Universal [Really doesn’t fit in any category, has elements of Necromancy(neg energy), Abjuration(Banishment), and Enchantment(Control)]
Level: Divine Casting Class 3
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100ft + 10ft./level)
Target: One divine caster
Duration: 1d4+1 rounds
Saving Throw: Will Negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

Rip Psionics
Telepathy [Mind-Affecting]
Level: Psionic Class 3
Display: Auditory, material, and visual
Manifesting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100ft + 10ft./level)
Target: One psionic creature
Duration: 1d4+1 rounds
Saving Throw: Will Negates
Power Resistance: Yes
Power Points: 5
By using this power you focus all of your psionic energies in an attack on a single other manifestors powers, in essence you focus all of your psionic powers on blocking and canceling out the targets psionic talents. If the target fails his will save both your and the targets psionic abilities are drained until the duration of the spell ends. If the subject succeeds his will save the power simply fails and you are not bereft of your power. This in effect makes your psionic manifesting power nonexistent, thus you cannot activate power trigger or power completion, but this has no effect on command word activated or use activated items.
Focus: You must expend your psionic focus in order to use this power.

Well actually, they are all the same spell. . . .just with different targets - one for arcane casters, one for divine, and one for psionics. Just the flavor text mainly has changed between them. The one has turned into a "power" but its the same effect......

What I'd change is the focus or the divine focus so that they aren't identical anymore...
