| Balgewolf02-02-04, 12:00 PM | Hi All I need something cleared up, as a group we are argueing about Burst Spells and Saving Throws Specifically the Sleep Spell which has a HD limit to its ability to damage/effect The main point of the arguements is this Do you apply the effects of the Sleep Spell to the targets then do the Roll Saving Throws, or do you start at the lowest HD creature and go up until the magic is used? Example Sleep is cast, you have 4 x 1hd Goblins and a 2hd Goblin Does the Sleep spell effect all 4 x 1hd Goblins no matter if they make or fail their saving throws and ignores the 2hd Goblin? or Do you go thru the goblins seeing if they make their saving throws and keep losing the effects as each fails. ie if the first 2 x 1hd Goblins make their saving throw, does the 2hd Goblin get effected? Hope I made that clear enough :) Anyway be back later today to check and see what you say. |
